Located in Kállósemjén, a town near the Ukrainian border, KDIE has a strong focus on empowering disadvantaged youth, fostering talent, and promoting social inclusion through various activities.
Our association was founded to provide educational and extracurricular opportunities for students and young people from all backgrounds. We aim to develop their skills, nurture their talents, and create a supportive community that helps them grow academically, socially, and physically. KDIE has been actively involved in local and international projects, engaging youth in innovative learning experiences, outdoor activities, and sports programs.
Our Main Activities

- Sports and Well-being – KDIE organizes sports activities such as football, volleyball, swimming, and cycling, ensuring that young people stay active while learning teamwork and discipline. We also run outdoor summer camps focusing on physical activities, nature awareness, and leadership development.
- Social Inclusion and Community Engagement – As an accredited European Talent Point, we actively promote social inclusion by supporting young refugees, students with disabilities, and those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Our volunteers have played a key role in assisting Ukrainian refugees by providing housing, transportation, and integration support.
- International Collaboration – We participate in Erasmus+ projects and other European initiatives, collaborating with partners to exchange best practices in youth work and sports inclusion.
Our Role in the „Play 4 Peace” Project

Kin-Ball: A Sport for All!
With the support of Luisma, our new volunteer from Spain—who is a Kin-Ball player, coach, and referee—we launched Kin-Ball sessions at Budai High School. Each week, boys and girls learn, progress, and enjoy this unique sport, emphasizing teamwork over competition. Kin-Ball promotes cooperation, inclusion, and fun, making it the perfect addition to the Play4Peace initiative.

Workshops are not limited to schools—Kin-Ball training sessions are also held every Monday and Friday, open to anyone interested in joining!
Modern Archery: Learning New Skills
Another highlight of our onsite workshops was our first modern archery training, led by our ESC volunteer, Robin. Participants learned essential archery techniques using a resistance band, helping them develop proper form and control before handling a real bow. This workshop demonstrated how sports can be accessible to everyone, focusing on precision, patience, and technique.

Chair Yoga: Movement for Everyone
Understanding that movement should be inclusive for all ages and abilities, we also held chair yoga sessions as part of the Play4Peace project. These sessions emphasize mind-body connection, stress relief, and improved posture, ensuring that everyone, regardless of physical ability, can participate and benefit from movement.

Our goal is to make sports accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for all!
Dance Workshops: Rhythm, Fun, and Connection
Our social dance workshops have become a key part of Play4Peace, offering participants a unique way to experience movement, culture, and teamwork. Recently, we focused on the cha cha cha and rumba, allowing everyone to connect through rhythm and shared experiences.
